Jay P. Ebersohl, P.E.
President, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ebersohl has over 20 years of experience within the Aerospace and Engineering industries. Mr. Ebersohl's engineering expertise is in flight mechanics and high speed aerodynamics. Mr. Ebersohl's expertise has led him to create the concept of integrating analysis software from various engineering disciplines into a single coherent package. This innovative concept was applied to software for hypersonic vehicle development and, once applied, lead to improved engineering methodologies and produced faster engineering cycle times. Mr. Ebersohl has also played a lead role in securing our skies. Mr. Ebersohl has led a team in the development of range safety analysis software. This software now predicts the hazards posed to aircraft from missile test debris. Mr. Ebersohl has also functioned as an instrumental leader in the development of control methods for hypersonic vehicles. Mr. Ebersohl's contribution to that field was in the discovery of new control methods for hypersonic vehicles using magneto hydrodynamics.
Prior to founding Advatech Pacific in 1995, Mr. Ebersohl was a member of the technical staff for TRW Ballistic Missiles Division. While there, Mr. Ebersohl developed an innovative set of analytical equations for predicting the lift and drag of hypersonic vehicles with multiple geometric parameters.
Mr. Ebersohl earned his M.S.E. from the University of Michigan in Aerospace Engineering. He received his B.S. from the California Institute of Technology in Engineering & Applied Science. He is a Professional Engineer registered in California and a private pilot.
