Jay P. Ebersohl
President, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ebersohl has over 20 years of experience within the Aerospace and Engineering industries. Mr. Ebersohl's engineering expertise is in flight mechanics and high speed aerodynamics. Mr. Ebersohl's expertise has led him to create the concept of integrating analysis software from various engineering disciplines into a single coherent package. This innovative concept was applied to software for hypersonic vehicle development and, once applied, lead to improved engineering methodologies and produced faster engineering cycle times. Mr. Ebersohl has also played a lead role in securing our skies. Mr. Ebersohl has led a team in the development of range safety analysis software. This software now predicts the hazards posed to aircraft from missile test debris. Mr. Ebersohl has also functioned as an instrumental leader in the development of control methods for hypersonic vehicles. Mr. Ebersohl's contribution to that field was in the discovery of new control methods for hypersonic vehicles using magneto hydrodynamics.
Prior to founding Advatech Pacific in 1995, Mr. Ebersohl was a member of the technical staff for TRW Ballistic Missiles Division. While there, Mr. Ebersohl developed an innovative set of analytical equations for predicting the lift and drag of hypersonic vehicles with multiple geometric parameters.
Mr. Ebersohl earned his M.S.E. from the University of Michigan in Aerospace Engineering. He received his B.S. from the California Institute of Technology in Engineering & Applied Science.
Vice President & General Manager
Electronics & Communications (EC) Business Unit
Mr. Moore brings over 30 years of experience in the Aerospace Industry to Advatech Pacific. During his 22 years of active duty in the US Air Force Mr. Moore held many key positions. A few examples of the many positions Mr. Moore was entrusted with include: Test Director for the Air Force's Automated Tactical Air Command & Control Center (TACC) System for the Electronic Systems Division, Program Manager for AF Space Command's Communications Upgrade for Cheyenne Mountain and the Director of Joint International Programs for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Joint Program Office (UAVJPO) for the Pentagon. After his military career, Mr. Moore joined TRW as a Senior Business Development Manager for TRW's Strategic Systems Division.
Mr. Moore earned his M.S. from the Air Force Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. He received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University in Electrical Engineering. He is also a graduate of the Air Force Air University's Squadron Officer's School (SOS), Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) and Air War College (AWC).
Mr. Moore is a DoD-Certified Acquisition Professional in the areas of Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Test & Evaluation. Additionally, Mr. Moore has been a private pilot since 1975.
Vice President & General Manager
Analysis & Design (AD) Business Unit
Mr. Johnson has over 25 years of experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry in Design, Program Management, Management, and Business Development. After beginning his career with large companies such as AlliedSignal and Boeing, Mr. Johnson took his expertise to the Engineering Consulting industry. Through his effective leadership and business development efforts, Mr. Johnson built a team of over 100 employees supporting multiple Aerospace customers with engineering, design, and manufacturing support. Eventually, Mr. Johnson accepted the challenge to use his experience to launch the Analysis and Design Business Unit at Advatech Pacific.
This business unit provides engineering support to multiple areas of the Aerospace industry including: turbine engines, aircraft structures, helicopters, satellites, and rockets to name a few. With the increasing shortage of engineering talent throughout the industry, Mr. Johnson and his team have worked to develop new engineering talent, provide a challenging and rewarding environment for success, and add value to their customers.
