- Integrated Modeling Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) Tools & Services - Advatech's integrated tools focus on a systems engineering approach to identify affordable systems and technologies that support the Government which have included evaluation of options for the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV), NASA's Space Launch System (SLS), Defensive Space Control (DSC), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Responsive Space (RS), and Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
- Research & Development Tools & Services - Advatech's engineers solve challenging hardware and software tasks and develop code to support the customers' needs, including development of Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), integrating tools into a local intranet or "Cloud" network, updating outdated legacy codes to adapt them to today's multiple processor environments and wrapping Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) around these existing codes making them operable by any engineer or researcher.

Aerospace Engineering Services
- Aerodynamic Analysis - Using a variety of software tools, our engineers simulate both internal and external fluid flow from subsonic to hypersonic speeds. We've applied our CFD expertise to numerous problems including rockets, missiles, thrust reversers, business jet hushkits, flutter and turbine engine exhaust ducts. Our Linux cluster allows us to harness the power of parallel processing to solve very large and complex problems.
- Structural & Design Analysis - By combining the talent of our engineers with powerful software tools, Advatech can provide you with structural analysis capabilities that lie outside your core competency, compliment your existing capabilities to reduce project time or help you to reduce your current analysis costs. Our engineers have extensive experience applying several structural analysis methods including finite element analysis (FEA), using software like NASTRAN and ANSYS, and traditional methods from Bruhn, Roark, and Shigley to a range of disciplines including linear and nonlinear static strength, creep, fatigue and crack growth, shock and vibration, modal, and buckling.
- Thermal Analysis - Advatech performs transient and steady-state thermal analysis using a variety of software tools, which we apply to products like turbine engines, satellites, rockets and electronics. We also combine thermal analysis with CFD to optimize circuit board layouts and electronic enclosures including heatsinks and cooling fans.
- Composite Materials Analysis - The use and significance of composite materials continues to grow. Advatech, recognizing this trend, has positioned itself to provide advanced analysis capabilities for composite materials. Our engineers apply finite element analysis (FEA) and traditional numerical techniques to a broad range of structures that use composite materials. Utilizing several software tools we can quickly examine several characteristics of composite structures including static strength, fastener pull-out, buckling, modal and damage assessment. We also use the GENOA program to predict the fatigue life of composites for arbitrary lay-ups. This software allows us to predict where a composite component will fail, the mode of failure and the fracture path.
