Advatech Pacific Continues International Expansion
of Communications Interoperability Product, Partners with
Key Regional Dealer in South East Asia
(June 22, 2010)
Company Expanding Marketing Operations
with DefTecSys, Inc.
REDLANDS, Calif. - June 22, 2010 –
Advatech Pacific, Inc. today announced its continuing
international marketing expansion with the partnership of
Paul E. Buenaventura of DefTecSys, Inc. located in Pasig
City, Philippines.
This strategic partnership will enable Advatech to
provide its communication interoperability technology to an
unrefined South East Asian communications interoperability
market.
“The South East Asian market is an
excellent opportunity for Advatech’s communication
interoperability technology,” said Ken Moore, Vice President
Business Development, Advatech Pacific, Inc.
“Radio manufactures did a good job selling different
types of radios all throughout the region, thus creating a
communication nightmare when disparate agencies need to talk
to one another at the time of a disaster, when communication
is most critical.
There is a high demand for communication coordination
in the Philippines where even the same departments in some
cases have different radios. ”

Advatech Pacific, Inc.
engineers recently
demonstrated its Universal
Gateway to
Telecommunications Equipment
(uGATE) product to the
Riverside
(California) County Sheriff's
department. Of particular
interest to the Sheriff,
represented by Chief Deputy
Craig Kilday, Lieutenant
Henry Sawicki, and Deputy
James Lanning, was the
ability of the uGATE to
interconnect disparate radio
systems so that they could
communicate with one
another. The Sheriff's
deputy provided one of its
radios to Advatech on a
Thursday and by the next
afternoon that radio could
interoperate with both the
Military's SINCGARS and a
Motorola Walkie-Talkie
through Advatech Pacific's
uGATE device.
