Announcement of Promotion for Vice President and General Manager of Space and Missiles (SM) Division, Palmdale, CA (1 January 2007)

Advatech Pacific is pleased to announce the promotion of Richard Hora to Vice President and General Manager of the newly formed Space and Missile Division located at Palmdale, California, reporting to Charles Kondrack, corporate Chief Operations Officer located in Redlands. In his new role Mr. Hora is responsible for the development and support of a variety of company products such as the Integrated Propulsion Analysis Tool (IPAT), Military Responsive Launch Operations Model (MRLOM), Advanced Cost Model (ACM), and DeltaPOST. These tools perform functions ranging from the design and analysis of propulsive aerospace vehicles to the performance assessment of those vehicles as applied to specific mission objectives, to include the description of the concept of operations and cost and risk of specific designs as applied to various mission models and architectures. The Division also pursues the modeling and analysis of advanced propulsion concepts such as electric propulsion and nuclear power systems.

Mr. Hora joined Advatech Pacific in 2004 and most recently was the manager of the Palmdale, California office, where he was credited with significantly increasing the Advatech Pacific business base. Prior to joining Advatech Pacific, he had positions with several aerospace companies, including Boeing, General Dynamics, Comptek Research, Inc., Spacehab, Inc. (as CEO), and Eclipse Space Lines, Inc. (as CEO). Richard holds a BA in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School.
