Announcement of Promotion for Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Technology (AT) Division, Redlands, CA (1 January 2007)

Advatech Pacific is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Kister to Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Technology Division in Redlands, California, and the Analysis and Design Division in Tempe, Arizona, reporting to Charles Kondrack, corporate Chief Operations Officer located in Redlands. In his new role, Mr. Kister is responsible for the technology development and support to the Aerospace Industry. The Advanced Technology Division provides subject matter expertise and engineering simulation tool development, specializing in space launch and payload systems analysis, conceptual design and cost/risk evaluation. The division has also developed a Highly Mobile Tactical Communication system for emergency response situations. The Analysis and Design Division provides expert engineering structural design and analysis for aviation, space, marine and related products.

Before assuming his new responsibilities, Mr. Kister was the Director, Program Operations responsible for program management and oversight of all Advatech Pacific programs and projects, as well as control and management of program operations. He was also the acting General Manager of the new start-up Analysis and Design Division. In these roles, he created excellent revenue growth over a two year period.

Mr. Kister joined Advatech Pacific in 2003. Prior to joining Advatech Pacific, he was Vice President of Business Management at Ducommun AeroStructures in Monrovia, California, a manufacturer of composite and metal bond structural components for commercial and military aircraft. He has also held positions of responsibility at Composite Structures LLC of Monrovia as well as Lockheed Martin Company in Ontario, California.

Mr. Kister holds a BBA in Computer Science from National University in Los Angeles, and various certifications, such as a Certified Professional Manager (ICPM) and Lockheed Advanced Management Programs.
